A Wictory Wednesday like none other. I just woke up after a quick four hour sleep. Still cannot believe that they have not called New Mexico, Nevada and Iowa. The President has won the popular vote and has clearly won the electoral vote. It is up to the Kerry/Edwards campaign to concede and it is pathetic that they have not done so.
While I'm on pathetic. I talked in an earlier post about my desire to see the President and the Republicans achieve a strong and decisive victory so that we could go after the scum in the media. My hope is that this result and the all nighter that many of them just pulled will result in some early retirements. Outside of that, the issues that once again are at the center of a national election need to be addressed. The media in this country is an embarrassment and we all have to thank Al Gore for inventing the Internet. Without it, and the good people at The Corner, PowerLine and the many other blogs out there, we may be in a very different position today. From the CBS story all the way through yesterday's exit polls, the work that has been done to provide a truly fair and balanced viewpoint has been awesome.
Congratulations to everyone that has been involved!
